Aatmara is where art becomes prayer,
where colours carry energy,
and every creation whispers to your soul.
Rooted in India’s traditions, inspired by temples, nature, and spirit.
This is a sanctuary for beauty that awakens within.
Our Story
Aatmara is more than a brand — it is a prayer in the form of art.
The name itself carries the essence: Aatma (soul) and Ra (expression, essence). Together, they mean the expression of the soul.
At its heart, Aatmara is about bringing spirituality, beauty, and meaning into daily life. Inspired by India’s deep artistic and spiritual traditions — from temple architecture and sacred geometry to stories, motifs, and meditative practices — every creation here is made with intention.
Just as temples are not only built to be seen but to be felt, every painting, every workshop, and every styled corner at Aatmara is designed to carry energy. They are sanctuaries in themselves — spaces that awaken calm, joy, and connection.
Aatmara exists to remind us that art is not just for the eyes, but for the soul.
From the Founder
Hello, I’m Manasa - the artist and seeker behind Aatmara.
For me, art has always been a form of listening to the silence, to my emotions, to the divine guidance. What began as a personal practice soon became a way of healing and connecting — with myself; with others, and with something far greater.
Growing up, I was deeply influenced by India’s culture and traditions. Temples fascinated me. Their carvings, symmetry, and energy. But it wasn’t just the architecture of the temples. It was the stories in mythology, the symbolism in nature, the rhythm of chants, the quiet meditation. All of these became threads that naturally wove into my art.
Over the years, I realized my paintings weren’t just expressions - they carried energy. A lotus was no longer just a flower, but a reminder of awakening. A mandala was a mirror of harmony. Even abstract strokes held emotion and spirit.
Aatmara was born from this realization. What began as my private journey of self-expression transformed into a shared offering. People resonated with the work not only for its beauty but for how it made them feel.
Today, Aatmara is my way of sharing that journey — through paintings; courses, and styling. It is a space where spirituality gets a creative outlet, where tradition meets the modern world; and where every creation helps the viewer pause, breathe; and reconnect with their soul.
With warmth and gratitude,
Manasa
